Football Helmet Cake


2-layer 9" round and cake baked in 9" Pyrex bowl on top. Iced in buttercream then airbrushed with Royal blue airbrush food color. Hand piped bronco logo on one side and #30 on other side of helmet. The face guard is made with gumpaste.

Topsy Turvey Presents



This is a 3-tier topsy turvey cake (6"-8"-10" squares) red velvet with cream cheese icing airbrushed with silver luster dust. The ribbons and bows are fondant and the diamonds in the middle of the bows are plastic rings I found at my favorite store...Target!

Spades Tournament


This is a 2-layer 10" square iced in buttercream then covered with a fondant "tablecloth". The client is a Dallas Cowboy fan who hosted a spades tournament. The cards are made with gumpaste then I used an edible food marker to create the details on the cards. The beer cans are candles.

Princess Cake


This is 1/4 sheet cake. The princess is piped with buttercream icing. The lily flowers are made with gumpaste. I sprinkled the entire cake with edible sugar sparkles.

Classic Hip Hop


The boombox is a full sheet cake iced with buttercream then airbrushed with silver edible color. I then used buttercream for all the accents and details. The record is a 14" round single layer cake iced in buttercream then airbrushed with black edible color.

Poinsettia Cake


1/2 sheet carrot cake torte and filled with pecan cream cheese icing. Iced smooth with cream cheese icing and embossed snowflakes after icing crusted. Sprinkled with edible glitter and placed gumpaste poinsettia in center of cake.

Tinkerbell Too


This is another design of a Tinkerbell Cake...1/2 sheet yellow cake with pineapple filling. I airbrushed the cake first to coordinate with the invitations, then I piped Tinkerbell with buttercream. 

Mini Teddy Bear


This cake is made with the mini 3D bear pan. I used the grass tip to cover the entire bear with buttercream then inserted the peppermint stick

Teddy Bear Blanket

This is a 1/2 sheet yellow and chocolate cake with buttercream icing for a baby shower. The teddy bear is made with chocolate candy melts molded in the mini bear pan.

Rocking Chair



This is a 2 tier birthday cake for a 60th birthday. She loves her rocking chair so I made a chair out of gumpaste then airbrushed it with edible copper sheen. The base of each cake is wrapped in pink fondant and the bow and roses are made with gumpaste.

Thanksgiving Turkey


I baked 1/2 of the 3D egg shell pan and placed it on top of  a 1/4 sheet cake to get the body. I filled it with chocolate bavarian cream then iced it in chocolate butttercream. The legs and wings are made with rice krispy treats. I iced those in chocolate buttercrean also then layered yellow, brown and orange airbrush colors to get the cake to resemble a roasted turkey. I let the icing crust for about 30 minutes then carefully brushed piping gel over the entire cake to get the shiny appearance. The stuffing is the the leftover cake from the 1/4 sheet cut into cubes.

Acoustic Guitar


I carved 1/2 sheet chocolate cake to resemble the main part of the guitar and the handle is butter yellow cake baked in the long loaf pan. The entire cake is iced in chocolate buttercream.

Hollywood Theme Cake


This cake is a 6", 8" & 10" iced in buttercream. The stars and movie reels are made with gumpaste. The red carpet, sign, camera and other details are made with fondant.

Lion Theme Baby Shower

The client emailed me the party invitations and asked me to come up with a baby shower cake and this is the result. I made the lion "topper" with fondant and the trees are lollipop sticks wrapped in fondant. The tree leaves are made with gumpaste.

Eiffel Tower Cake


This cake is 12" and 8" squares with random swirls piped along the tops and sides then hand-painted with silver luster dust. The banner is made with fondant. Since the party was a Paris theme, "Happy Birthday" is written in French. The Eiffel Tower is made with royal icing then airbrushed with copper sheen edible color.

Coffee Cup


I did this cake for an OrGano Gold Gourmet Coffee Event. Three 8" chocolate cakes with whipped chocolate ganache filling carved to resemble a cup. Then I iced the cake with chocolate ganache and covered with chocolate fondant and topped with whipped chocolate ganache to resemble latte coffee. The handle and logo are made with gumpaste.

Masquerade Sweet Sixteen


This is a topsy turvey cake covered the fondant for a sweet sixteen. The bottom layer is a 13" round airbrushed with silver luster dust. Then I airbrushed black zebra stripes on the silver fondant. The top layer is an 8" round covered in solid red fondant. The mask was provided by the client.

Polo Shirt Cake


This is a 1/2 sheet yellow cake with pecan cream cheese filling and cream cheese icing for a 50th birthday. The collar, buttons and pocket are made with fondant.

Designer Handbag


This is my first attempt at a Coach Purse. I stacked four 7"x11" cakes with buttercream filling then carved then to resemble the handbag. I iced the cake with buttercream then covered with fondant. I used a stencil to paint the "C's" with edible luster dust. The straps and other deatails are made with gumpaste.

Leopard Print Cake


This is a large half sheet iced in tan buttercream. I airbrushed the spots on the cake then painted the black markings around the brown spots with black edible luster dust. The ribbon and bow are made with chocolate fondant. I hand painted the gold trimming around the ribbon with gold luster dust.

Happy Halloween Spider


This is a large 1/2 sheet cake. The spider is a half ball pan for the body and a cupcake for the head. I covered floral wire with black icing for the legs.

First Birthday


This is a 12" round yellow cake with cream cheese icing. The cone hat is styrofoam covered in fondant. The cupcakes are also yellow cake with cream cheese filling and icing. The black polka dots are fondant cutouts. The small cake in front is a 6" square carved in the shape of a #1 then iced in cream cheese frosting and outlined with tip #18 stars.

Organ Donor Theme Birthday


I was very honored to participate in this surprise birthday cake for a man who had a heart transplant one year ago.

The cakes are iced in buttercream. I wrapped a chocolate fondant ribbon around each tier. The top tier has the "Donate Life" logo. The middle tier has a lattice impression around all sides and the bottom tier has "one organ donor can save 8 lives"

3D Snake Cake



I baked a yellow pound cake in a 10" bundt pan then cut it into quarters. I alternated the pieces to create the snake shape. I carved the first piece to resemble a head and used the extra pieces left after leveling the cake to create the coiled tail at the end. I iced the cake with buttercream then used a textured paper towel to create the scales. I airbrushed the cake with brown first then overlayed with green. I airbrushed the green diamond pattern along his sides and used a peice of gumpaste for the tongue.

Sisters!


These cakes are for sisters who are one year apart. I placed edible images on the cake and the polka dots coordinate with the invitations. I cut the letters out with a gumpaste cutter.

Pregnant Belly Cake

This is my first attempt at doing a pregnant belly cake...next time i'll make her a little further along!




This cake is a 2-layer 1/4 sheet cake for the belly, iced in buttercream then I used a cookie cutter to cut out thin slices of cake for the feet and placed on the side of the cake. Then I covered the entire belly with fondant. The breasts are a 6" round cake with 1/2 of the round ball pan on top, iced in buttercream and covered with fondant.

Baby Converse

I made the pink Converse shoes out of gumpaste. The cake and cake board are covered in fondant then airbrushed with a pink sheen edible dust. The base of the cake is wrapped in a pretty plaid ribbon. The cake and shoe can also be made in baby blue for a boy or any other color requested.

Elegant Cross Wedding


This is a 4 tier wedding cake...the top two tiers are carrot cake and the bottom two are Italian Creme Cake. All layers have a cream cheese pecan filling and iced with cream cheese frosting. Each tier has a navy fondant ribbon border and I hand painted the crosses on the front which matched the wedding invitations.

Federal Judge Cake


I did this cake for a judge celebrating his 10 year anniversary as a judge. The court seal on the cake is piped with buttercream icing and the banner on the bottom is made with fondant.
