I baked 1/2 of the 3D egg shell pan and placed it on top of a 1/4 sheet cake to get the body. I filled it with chocolate bavarian cream then iced it in chocolate butttercream. The legs and wings are made with rice krispy treats. I iced those in chocolate buttercrean also then layered yellow, brown and orange airbrush colors to get the cake to resemble a roasted turkey. I let the icing crust for about 30 minutes then carefully brushed piping gel over the entire cake to get the shiny appearance. The stuffing is the the leftover cake from the 1/4 sheet cut into cubes.

I began decorating cakes as a hobby in 1996 for friends and family but word of mouth is the best advertisment because it didn't take long before I started receiving calls from friends of friends who wanted me to do a cake for their next event! I am having so much fun and I am really looking forward to taking this hobby to the professional level!
