This is a large half sheet iced in tan buttercream. I airbrushed the spots on the cake then painted the black markings around the brown spots with black edible luster dust. The ribbon and bow are made with chocolate fondant. I hand painted the gold trimming around the ribbon with gold luster dust.

I began decorating cakes as a hobby in 1996 for friends and family but word of mouth is the best advertisment because it didn't take long before I started receiving calls from friends of friends who wanted me to do a cake for their next event!
