This is a 1/4 sheet yellow butter cake that I cut in half. I used one half for the body and I carved the other half into a cone shape for the head. I used the cake left from carving the head to form the ears and back feet. I covered the whole cake with brown buttercream icing using #18 tip.
I love life! I am a wife and mother blessed with the virtue of patience. I treat every day as another opportunity to learn and grow both spiritually and mentally. I began decorating cakes as a hobby in 1996 for friends and family but word of mouth is the best advertisment because it didn't take long before I started receiving calls from friends of friends who wanted me to do a cake for their next event! I am having so much fun and I am really looking forward to taking this hobby to the professional level!
