Gone Fishin' Groom's Cake







This groom LOVES to fish. I hand molded gumpaste fish, ducks, snakes, grass, cattails, frogs, lily pads and lily flowers for this cake. The water is created with piping gel and the dirt is crumbled up german chocolate cake. The cake was german chocolate with coconut-pecan filling and iced with chocolate buttercream...YUMMY!

Pearls and Lace Wedding Cake



This cake has alternating tiers of cornelli lace and edible pearls which I hand rolled out of fondant (approximately 1200!!!) then covered with edible pearl dust after they dried. It was definitely worth it...I LOVE this cake and so did the bride!

Sleeping Teddy Bear



This is a baby shower cake. The bed is a 2-layer 3/4 sheet white cake with strawberry filling. The hood is three 1/4 sheet cakes sliced in half horizantally then stacked and carved to resemble the hood of a bassinet. The teddy, pillow, blanket and pacifier are all hand molded with fondant. This cake must have weighted 50 lbs!!!

Dinosaur Cake


This cake is for a little boy who LOVES dinosaurs! The dinosaur was iced in buttercream and covered with tip 18 stars. The street was created with 4 mini loaf pan cakes lined up next to each other. The spikes on his back and the buildings are made with fondant.

Baby Blocks


This is a 1/4 sheet cake with three 2.5" x 2.5" cakes decorated to resemble baby blocks placed on top.

Black Dodge Magnum




This is a 2-layer half sheet cake with a 1/4 sheet single layer placed on top for the roof. I carved the cake to resemble the shape of the car then iced in buttercream. I used royal icing painted with silver luster dust for the chrome details.

Cookie Cake


I did this cake for a lady who loves cookies! This is a 10" round yellow cake iced with buttercream frosting. I opened each cookie then dipped the side with cream into sprinkles and attached to the side of the cake with royal icing. I alternated chocolate and yellow cookies.
